The write-up and the pics were prepared by "Kurti" from the German E34.board.
I just have linked that pdf of 978.09 KB on bimmerboard E34 section and added some English language comments for better understanding of the info. Especially the last pic is interesting, the impeller was broken, but no coolant leak. So whenever you feel the heater capacity is going down while in idle or in traffic jam, check also the aux water pump.
