View Full Version : Stiff Steering & Servotronic unit/sensor?

My steering sometimes, at low speeds, gets very hard (like the power steering pump is out).

It's happened twice in teh past month.

I've been giving advice that it's either the servotronic unit (under the dash?) or the sending unit at the gearbox.

Does anyone have any idea what it more likely is? Or should I change both?

Or check which power steering you have and which filter here, and you can see where

Thanks. I looked at the oem site; but didn't see a filter for the power steering pump... I'll look in my manual & look on the car to determine if I have "For models with Bellino and Cie system" or not.

Thank you for the links & help!
