that is classical tuning. The N2O injection he only uses in races against others for big money. You can see the pics of the car after such a race.
I know him personally. he visited recently Tokyo.

I also got this spoiler lip now from one of my parts cars and will install it on my daily driver, the grey 750iL.

What do you think about the front grill? I have a spare one from my parts car and want to experiment a bit with racing mesh. Would that be good?

You mean your friend actually races his 7 series?, wow. I like the look of the e32, it's just a larger e34. They are so cheap in australia (high depreciation rate) it's not funny. I think when people see a 15+ year old car and 200,000kms, they get worried. Racing mesh would look okay, but I'm assuming that it would block air flow to the radiator slightly. seeya :)

Yes, they do that racing stuff, but it is not legal. And it is for big money. For that he uses the N2O injection. That is also why you see his car's pics with very dirty experior after a race. They race on empty forest streets in Southern Bavaria in Germany. That N2O stuff is quite expensive. I thing a 5 kg bomb costs abt. 300 $.
He is only using it for the purpose of the races.
