Is the car lowered?
How much?

In general they should fit, but it depends if you have lowered the car.
My friend has 8.5 x& 8x17 with ET 10 at the rear and ET 5 in front.
But the car was lowered and that was just right at the limit.
Tires: I would recommend 225 front and 245 in rear.

Maybe you have to roll the lower edge of the fender at the rear with a fender lip tool/roller to make a bit more space for the tire.
Some people in germany also use the trick to install the bad road package at the rear or as they call it Eastern European road package.
That gets the chassis a bit higher.
Here a pick of such part for the E32 the rear. Makes the shape a bit better, rear up, front down.
