I need to know if I have to remove the drive shaft to put my car on a tow dolly or if I can just remove the drive axles.

use a trailer or drive it.

I would recommend removing the half shafts instead of the driveshaft.

Dont tow dolly it unless its to the junk yard man!

the owners manual says that if you are dollying it that you are to disconnect the driveshaft at the guibo. maybe i'm unfamiliar with towin' cars...but why can't you put the dolly on the back wheels?

I have to get it it home so I can fix it.
I am in the process of removing the drive shafts, so I won't have to remove the exhaust and all that crap.
The tow truck guy wanted 260.00 dollars. I didn't want to pay that.

I didn't think the driveshafts added much structure to the suspension, but I don't know everything.

remove the half shafts not the drive shaft, much easier and less wear on the parts.
