Hi,

I am a new user and new BMW owner with a check engine light problem. Does anyone know what code 121 is? My local BMW mechanic, says he doesn't have access to proprietary codes, and recommends I go to the dealer. If anyone knows what a code 121 is and how to fix it, it would be great. Codes 121, 64 and 207 also showed up.

Thanks
Tony

It could be 1212 = lambda sensor # .... For example.
Go to my website below. Then use the link to the page of Johan and Sean, (shrubbery.student.utwente), then click on the left on information, a window will open, there click "miscellaneous links", the you will find among others "BMW diagnostic trouble codes".
There you will find all the code numbers.

But you have to know which DME you have installed.
I think (not sure) for the 740 these are the codes. You have to scroll way down a lot almost to the end, there is a lot of empty space on this link in between
