Replaced with doner relay, done deal. Everything I researched was the resistor pack/sword and the issue was a relay never spoken about is my point.

maybe you can re-solder it, open it up and check for cold solderings

I would use the plastic cover from the old one. In any case we can clearly see the differences between non-Bosch and Bosch reman alternators.

Not under the window shelf, on left side of trunk under the insulation stuff. Under the window is CD changer and some old style phone modulator stuff.
