Call BMA and other places like MSD. I know of other kits out there for the M20, M30 & S38. These other kits are also superior with better shielding. The only thing is it is a little more difficult to bend and snake into place. The pros, better shielding, cheaper price & quality.

well ... I remember once that the cable is molded with the plugs they are not like those old ones that u screw in the plug. still ... it's not a big deal, u need to get good shielded wires that stands 15KV without leaks, the ones with the thin wire are the best as far as I know. I also remember once I was told that the wires used by BMW are resistive wires, it should read between 3.5K - 6K depending on the length between the distributor and the plug.

I suggest you get the distributor and plugs and build one, just keep the old one untouched, if it works without any misfiring and u feel the difference then u do the same for the other side ... otherwise u plug in the old wires and find better material for the rebuild.

    good luck

Bought a seta while back from Bav Auto ~$400 for both sides. I kept the old ones, if you want them to rebuild you can have 'em.

Just a moment, we are talking here from M20 to M70 engine. The V12 spark plugs are much more expensive.

Here is a possibility to make it cheaper for a V12
