that's a good way to turn around ... how much time it takes to replace them in addition to the time removing the intakes for intake gasket replacement? I guess 6 - 8 hours?

I did it on my Highline which is under reconstruction, so I was not in a hurry. Also did some other work like painting the valve covers, brushing the intakes nicely with steel wool by hand, resealing the intake gaskets with hylomar etc.
I assume 6-8 hours should be o.k, if you are in a hurry.
You need a long about 40 cm extension to remove the intakes, see Johan's page for example.
