    Default e39 540-530?

    About a month ago you may remember I bought a '95 740il, nice car needed a little help. Sure the compression and leakdown tests were good. Well I got it home from Texas and tested it. Bad. Now its time to play screw the dealer for those who have been screwed by them. So I'll trad'er in on an e39. Maybe I'll get back close to what I bought it for ($8500).

    Anyway back to the story. Alright so now I'm looking at e39's. Definitely manual. Either a 540 or 530. Anybody know about common issues? What to look for? Any help would be awesome.
