    no idea about that Mike,
    In Japan we still can use R12, and that is top. We have about +40 degrees Celsius= I guess that is about 110 D Fahrenheit in summer. No prob at all. Aircon works, engine temp indicator always about 12 hours.

    That's actually one of the freeze plugs in the engine block. When the coolant freezes instead of cracking the engineblock it will push out the plug.
