link does not work, can you check that and correct?
Just to make life interesting, Peake use a hex system for their codes. But you can translate them into the BMW codes: Take the left digit and multiply by 16 then add the right digit. For letters (A to F) use 10 to 15. So code OF is BMW code 15 (ignition circuit monitoring) and code 45 is 4 x16 + 5= BMW code 69 (knock sensor 2).
All the codes are here:

Following a query, I posted this to another board today. It occurred to me that others may find it useful to cross-check

Cool! That should be in the Peake manual (is it not?- I still don't have one...)

I dont have one eitherI use DIS. This came about as the guy on the other board was using a Peake and it came up with 'secondary ignition monitor' on a 3.3.1 DME. That didnt make sense. But when you 'translate' the Peake code into BMW-speak it comes up with code 15 and that does

it is not in the Peake manual, they have their own codes. You can download the Peake owners manual from their website Reset and Scan Tools for BMW Check-Engine, SRS, Oilservice Inspection
I have a Peake but use it seldom, for the 1988 E32 750 there are limited fault codes available, the Peake shows more codes the younger the car is.
The code he was getting on his '93 525i with the Peake was 0F. Thats in chart 5 as 'ignition secondary monitor' which is a bit misleading. But when you 'convert' 0F it becomes BMMW code 15. The Peake was also telling him all 6 coils were faulty. DME 3.3.1 doesnt monitor the coils either. Many thanks for the link. I have added it to my 'favourites![]()
